Mary Caroline (Bone) Evans was born April 28, 1927, in Chandler to Roy and Minnie (Sullivan) Bone. She passed away December 3, 2024, in Meeker at the age of 97.
Mary was born north of Warwick and grew up in rural Wellston. She married Bobby Don Evans on April 9, 1945, and they raised four children together, Brenda, Carroll, Janet, and Clifford Jack. Mary was a wonderful housekeeper and enjoyed watching The Lawrence Welk Show and the Walton's on the television. She loved her church life and family, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Minnie Bone; husband of 74 years, Bobby Don Evans; son, Clifford Jack Evans; siblings, Lynval Bone, Louvella (Bone) Brown, Lela (Bone) Herns; and son-in-law, Dale Danker. Survivors include her children, Brenda (Evans) Danker of Wellston, Carroll Evans and wife Pamela of Marietta, Janet (Evans) Gay and husband Steve of Wellston; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2024, at Lehman Funeral Home. A funeral will be held the following day, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday December 10, 2024, at the Trinity Baptist Church with interment following in the Star Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
