Georgia Ann Harris Noble

Georgia Ann Harris Noble was born on March 15, 1943 in Pawnee, OK. On December 4, 2020 she made her journey to be with our creator. She left this earth at the age of 77 and will be missed by so many who knew her from her many roles in life. The matriarch of the Harris family, she was well versed in many aspects of our traditions. She belonged to the Beaver Clan and was named A Kwe Lo Ko.

She received her education from the University of Central Oklahoma. Throughout her career she worked for Indian Health Services as the Director of Property and Procurement, HR Director at the Sac & Fox Nation. She served as Chair of the First Gaming Enterprise Board of the Sac & Fox Nation. She served many years on the Elders Advisory Committee, the Activity Committee, Pow Wow Committee & Pow Wow Committee Treasurer for the Sac & Fox Nation and served as a member of multiple other clubs, chapters and organizations. Georgia was Catholic and a lifelong member of the Native American Church. She was a lady singer for Southern Thunder, Cedar Tree and Otter Trail drum groups. She served as a Lady Singer for the Osage Inlonska for fifty- five years. She mentioned that she started singing when she was twelve years old. A member of the Oklahoma Federation of Indian Women. She was the 2018 Lillian Rose Strickland Elder of the Year.

She was a devoted wife, a mother, a grandmother, great grandmother and Auntie to many. She leaves behind her husband Jamey Noble, daughter Theresa Ann LeClair.

She is preceded in death by her Son Perry LeClair, parents George & Mable Harris, brother Ronnie Harris Sr, Ray Murdock, Laura Walker, & Myron Wanatee.
