Richard Gene "Rick" Masquat

August 30, 1960 ~ August 18, 2023

Richard Gene "Rick" Masquat went to his Heavenly Home August 18, 2023 after battling pancreatic cancer. He was born August 30, 1960 in Pawnee, OK.

Rick graduated from Stroud High School, the Class of 1978. After graduation he went to Alaska working on fishing boats and in the oilfield. He worked in several different fields of work from Alaska, Texas to Florida, to fishing, oilfield and construction. He even owned his own roofing company at one time. Rick loved fishing, helping anyone that needed help and swapping tales with friends and family.

Rick is survived by his mother Dee Byford of Chandler and father Lynn and step-mother Mary Linda Pryor of Anchorage, Alaska and close family friend Jim Dervin, his sister Kim Boone of Stroud, his brother Les Masquat of Chandler and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Sac & Fox Chapel, Stroud, OK.
