Pamela Tina Boyd departed this earth surrounded by family on March 1, 2023.
Pamela was born on December 12, 1962 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Merle Boyd and Beverlee (Ahhaitty) Boyd. Pam and her family lived in Oklahoma City for many years, she graduated Classen High School in 1981. After high school she worked for a couple different companies as a power equipment driver. She also worked as a Physical Therapy Tech. Pam was highly talented in all sports. She even twice received MVP in the Indian State Tournament and also had some decorated basketball accomplishments. There really wasn't a sport she didn't like. Pam also liked her music, and music of all genres. It's what helped her sometimes navigate through life. Pam never met a stranger, she was always willing to help and had a huge heart. For years she even would grow her hair out to donate to Locks of Love. To say that Pam was a special lady is an understatement, she will be greatly missed.
Pam is preceded in death by her father Merle Boyd.
Pam is survived by mother Beverlee Boyd, sisters Tammy Fields and Shanarae Boyd; nephew Chris Boyd; nieces Kristen Bibbs and Stephanie Fields; special cousins Ni'vy Starr, Maria Starr-Crispin, Marlena Starr and Cristina Starr; adopted father Marvin Thurman; adopted brother George Valliere and adopted sisters Ida Parish and Georgia Nullake; and also many extended family and a host of friends.
