Billy Steven Real was born May 22, 1949 in Oklahoma City to Willie and Clethal (Watson) Real. He passed away December 10, 2020 in his home in Wellston at the age of 71.

Bill grew up in Wellston where he graduated from high school with the class of 1968. He proudly served his country in the United States Army with a tour in Vietnam. Following his career in the Army his became a welder working for OG&E until retirement in 1988. Bill was a world-renowned welder who flew around the world welding even welding under water. He enjoyed blacksmithing, gun and knife making and had a passion for bass fishing and hunting. Bill was a confederate enthusiast. He was a long-time member of the Wellston Christian Church. Most of all, he had an unbelievable love for his daughters, family, and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Clethal Real; brother, David Real; and sister, Shirley Lowe. Survivors include his 3 daughters, Tracy Long and her husband Al of Lincoln County, Tina Holder and her husband Buster of Meeker, Kristi Williams of Wellston; grand-daughters, Nichole, Aubrey, Adriana, and Serenity; 2 great-grandchildren, Blakely and Talon; brother Ron Real and wife Janice of Wellston; along with other family and friends.

Services with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday December 14, 2020 in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel with interment following in the Rossville Cemetery under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
