Averie Rayne Gretlein was born on Groundhog Day February 2, 2012 in Oklahoma City to Chelsea (Brewton) Ross and Skylar Gretlein. She passed away September 30, 2022 at the young age of 10.
Little Averie had an infectious smile that lit up the room. She enjoyed high 5’s, bubbles, jumping on the trampoline, watching movies on repeat, gaming, swimming, fishing and fireworks. She was fearless and loved playing with her cousins, Emalee and Alicia.
Averie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Tim Brewton. Survivors include her parents, Chelsea and Paul Ross, Skylar Gretlein; sister, Alora Ross; grandparents, Cindy Brewton, Paul and Michelle Ross, Freddie and Cheri Danker; aunts, Carrie Peterson and husband Doug, Jacie and Coby Ross, Amber Collins; uncle Trenton Delaware; very close cousins Emalee Brewton and Alicia Peterson along with other family and friends who will miss her smile.
Visitation will be Thursday, 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. October 6th 2022 at Lehman Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 7th 2022 at Lehman Funeral Home with interment following in the Rossville Cemetery.
