EDDIE HELM

7 Aug 1943 - 26 Feb 2017

Dale Edward "Eddie" Helm, life-long Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born August 7, 1943, in Chandler, and departed this life February 26, 2017, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 73 years.

Eddie was the son of Ora and Lennie (Wakley) Helm. He graduated from Chandler High School in 1961. Eddie married Susie Key on April 12, 1963, in Chandler. He owned and operated a dairy for many years, and later in life he worked as a construction supply salesman. Eddie attended the Chandler Presbyterian Church.

His parents, one granddaughter, Erica; one sister, Goldie; three brothers, Lee, JC, and Joe preceded Eddie in death.

Survivors include, two sons and son-in-law, Mark Helm and spouse Thomas Deutsch of Choctaw, Oklahoma, and Eric Helm of Chandler; one daughter, Sherry Helm of Oklahoma City; one sister, Glenda Miller of Chandler; three grandchildren, Johnny, Erin and Kylie; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, with Rev. Bruce Newby officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
