Adrain Dale White was born on November 1, 1936, in Seminole Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, February 24, 2017, in Southmayd, Texas, at the age of 80.
Adrain, the son of Rev. John Barnabas and Edith Pearl (Wright) White, was a resident of Southmayd, Texas. Adrain graduated high school and Centerview High School, with the class of 1954. He spent several years working for the highway department and then he went to work in the oilfield. Adrain was an over the road truck driver. Adrain retired from Universal Field Services as a land man. He loved to make people laugh, whether it was telling a joke or pulling out a picture of his “pride and joy”, which were a picture of a bottle of pride and a bottle of joy.
Adrain’s parents, one son, John Arthur, and a brother, Boyd White, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughters, Joyce White of Sherman, Texas and Pat and Glenn Royal of Grand Prairie, Texas; two grandchildren, Ravyn Royal of Grand Prairie, Texas and Ryder Royal of Grand Prairie, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, J.B. and Norma White of Paden, Oklahoma; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and James Lakins of Prague, Oklahoma, Glenda and Gary Melton of Wadley, Alabama and Linda Swanner of Overland Park, Kansas and many other family and friends scattered across Prague, Paden and Oklahoma.
The White family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at the Prague Cemetery in Prague, Oklahoma with Rev Starland Davis officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
