Elbert Howard Riddle was born September 17, 1927 in Gracemont, OK. He reached his Heavenly home on September 18, 2022. A lifelong Church of Christ member, Elbert represented grace of a Christian man, father, brother, and fellow man.
Elbert was a simple man that loved the farm life, a good minced meat pie, reading his Bible, watching westerns, tending to his wonderful garden, eating peanuts and loving his many dogs.
Elbert retired from Western Heights after 30 years. He was head custodian and number 16 bus driver. Elbert was also match maker to son (Denton) and daughter in law, Michele. Michele rode his bus and passed his bus with good conduct, praise, and a boyfriend.
Elbert was married 45 years to Kathryn Riddle until her death in 2020.
He is preceded in death by his wife Kathryn, his son Tim Riddle and many family extended family members. Left to mourn him are his son Denton Riddle and wife Michele, sister Loretha Hart and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Denton and Michele would like to thank Rachelle Goodwin and Janet Frost for their care of Elbert. Their gentle touch and kind hearts and devotion let Elbert have dignity in his last stages of life.
His master said to him, Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant.
