Mellonie Marlene Stanfield Quary

Mellonie Marlene (Stanfield) Quary, age 62, of Shawnee, was born Friday, July 6, 1956 in Hutchinson, Kansas the daughter of Harvey and Betty Jean (Moutray) Stanfield, Sr. She passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at her home in Shawnee.

Mellonie graduated Prague High School and later married Mr. Edward �Eddie� Quary on May 20, 1974 in the home of her parents in Centerview, Oklahoma.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved watching reruns of the television shows, �Little House on the Prairie� �The Waltons� and �MASH.�

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one grandson, Hunter Lane Quary in 2000.

Mellonie is survived by her husband, Eddie Quary of the home in Shawnee; one son, Jeremy Quary and his wife, Kristy of Shawnee; one daughter, Jessica Raley and her husband, Jarred of Athens, Texas; two sisters, Pam DeJaynes of Omaha, Nebraska and Nancy Whitfield of New York; and nine Grandchildren, Ryan Quary, Michael Covey, Ami Quary, Ryan Covey, Ady Cagle, LolaJean Covey, Chloee Raley, Noah Raley and Leah Raley.

Private services were held for Mellonie with burial concluding in the Prague Cemetery under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
