On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, Theresa LeeAnn Knox, loving mother of one child, departed this life at age 65.
Theresa was born on October 20, 1955 in Prague Oklahoma to Leo Daniels and Doris Gordon Daniels. She attended Prague Public Schools where she acquired her love for basketball and held the position as a guard for the Prague Red Devils. Her love of sports grew into a loyalty for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys.
Theresa was joined in marriage to Robert Knox, and to this union one child was born, Antoinnett. Theresa served in the healthcare profession for ten years in nursing homes. She enjoyed time with her family and was devoted to her Christian faith. She always displayed a cheerful outlook no matter the circumstances. Her confidence inspired others to see the goodness in life. She began every day with, “Thank you, Jesus”.
Theresa was preceded in death by her father Leo and her mother Doris, her brothers Alfonzo, Leo Jr, Leonard, Johnny, Alonzo, Randy and her sister, Bernice. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Antoinett, her grandson, Hashim, whom she cherished, her sisters, Dorothea, Bessie, Elizabeth, Lavern and her brothers, David, Cleotis, Pearl Jr and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home, 1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City at 11:00 AM followed by graveside service at Prague City Cemetery at 1:30 PM
