Donald Wayne Gregory was born in Prague, OK on February 10, 1943. He departed this life in Oklahoma City, OK on December 31, 2018 surrounded by family.
Don was the son of Thomas Edgar and Ethel “Rella Mae” (Harper) Gregory. He was a resident of Prague, Oklahoma most of his life. He lovingly married Patsy Sue Cooper on February 4th, 1967 and passed with her at his bedside on New Years Eve morning. Don was a great friend, an amazing husband and an outstanding father and grandfather.
He enjoyed wood carving, tinkering and spending time with his family. His admirable presence, perfectly-timed jokes, gracious love and strong spirit will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his siblings: Junior Gregory, Freddie Gregory, Peggy Ford, Johnny Gregory, Caralee Maggard and 2 infant brothers.
Survivors include: His wife, Patsy Gregory. His children: Shelley Gregory and her husband Kenneth Austin II Of Roanoake, Texas; Kevin Gregory and his wife Heather Gregory Of Owasso; Trey Gregory and his wife Abby Gregory Of Prague; His grandchildren: Alicia Walker and her husband Russell Walker of Prague; Kirsty Coomer and her husband Cody Coomer of Yukon, Maranda Green of Missouri, Bailey Green of Braggs; Ryan Engrav and his wife Kersti Engrav of Mesquite, Texas; Kollin Gregory of Tulsa; Calaen Burton, Calee and Kolleen Gregory- all of Owasso; Kennedy, Tanner, and Dusti Gregory- all of Prague. Great grandchildren: Bentyn Coomer; Weston, Leigh and Coleman Walker; Kam, Zay and Karson Diaz; Remington and Ruger Engrav.
Funeral services will be held at The Assembly Of God church in Prague, OK on Thursday, January 3rd 2019 at 10:00am. Burial will be at the Prague Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Prague.
