Wilma Belle (Hollon) Brauer, long-time Prague, Oklahoma, resident, was born August 22, 1928, in Arlington, Oklahoma. She departed this life on February 5, 2022, at her home on the farm, at the age of 93 years.

Wilma was the daughter of Noah and Katherine “Katie” (West) Hollon. She graduated from Prague High School in 1947. Upon graduation, she moved into town to work with her sisters. Wilma married Henry Junior Brauer on November 5, 1949, in Prague, Oklahoma. They owned and operated a dairy for many years. Wilma was a hard worker, she always had a large garden and canned vegetables, made jelly, hauled hay, had chickens and sold eggs. Wilma loved babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchild and watching the hummingbirds. She will be greatly missed.

Preceding Wilma in death were her parents, Noah and Katie Hollon; husband, Henry Brauer; two sons, Phillip Henry Brauer and Kenneth Lloyd Brauer; her daughter, Janice Tascier; a brother, Harold Hollon; grandson, Justin Tascier and brother-in-law, Bud Opela.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Sue Brauer, Donnie Brauer and Terri Jordan; three sisters, Velma Opela, Hazel Heinzig and husband Earl, Mary Mayfield and husband Darrell; three grandchildren, Jeremy Brauer and wife Ashley, Chad Tascier and wife Ashleigh, and Alisha Spain; great-grandson, Jake Smith; sister-in-law, Connie Hollon; son-in-law, Allen Tascier; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 11, 2022, at Prague Cemetery, Prague, Ok, with Pastor David Hand officiating. Condolences can be expressed at www.parksbrothers.net. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague, Oklahoma.
