Starleen Lee (Lacquement) Blackwell was born on November 22, 1941 to Clarence Emil and Edith Frances Lee Lacquement in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on November 22, 2017 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 76. Starleen grew up and attended school in Stroud later graduating from Prague High School in 1959. She later married Dellen “Dee” Blackwell in 1960 and to this union four boys were born; Randel, Ray, Tommy, and Tim. Her hobbies included wagon trains, antiquing, garage sales, and having coffee with ladies at Cowpokes.
Her parents, husband on May 5, 2010, and son Ray on April 22, 1995, and brother, Richard Lacquement preceded Starleen in death.
She is survived by three sons, Randel Blackwell and friend, Jeff Nye, of Prague, Tommy Blackwell and wife Lori of Prague and Tim Blackwell and wife Kristie of Prague; eleven grandchildren, Mikylee Blackwell Burris, Duncan Blackwell, Abigail Putman, Chris Wassana, Heather Blackwell, Dellen Blackwell, Amanda Dockery, Buddy Ray Blackwell, Courtney Blackwell, Taylor Blackwell, Tylor Blackwell, and Ashlie Blackwell; 10 great-grandchildren and brother, Steve Lacquement, of Jones.
Funeral services for Starleen are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, November 27, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Brother Tim Emmons and Brother Duncan Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
The Blackwell family will greet friends on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 4-6pm at the funeral home.
