Reginald “Reggie” Perry Anderson, 67, a resident of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on December 24, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Reggie was born on July 26, 1953 in Okemah, Oklahoma.
Reggie attended Prague and Paden schools, graduating from Paden High School in 1971.
On July 28, 1973, Reggie married Bonnie Smith in Paden.
Reggie was a roofer for the state of Oklahoma for 30 years.
Reggie enjoyed raising and working cattle on his farm, deer hunting, and golfing. He was an avid supporter of FFA and was awarded an Honorary Chapter Farmer degree. He was a little league coach, and later was the biggest supporter at any ballgame, livestock show or dance competition his grandkids were involved in.
Reggie had been a member of the First Baptist Church since 2003.
Reggie was preceded in death by his grandparents; his stepfather, Jerry Hause; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Davis; uncles Doyle Lee and wife Ruth, Gene Lee and wife AdaBell; Jimmy Lee and wife Juanita; John Lee and wife Geneva; and Bill Lee; aunts Palmer Cooper and husband Henry; Theo Eastep and husband Raymond; Bobbie Smith and husband Ben J; Clara Faye White and husband Paul; Linda Allen and husband C.O.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Bonnie Anderson; sons, Shawn Anderson and his wife Brandi, and Ryan Anderson and his wife Bryna; his mother, Martha Hause; grandchildren, Macyn Anderson, Abby Anderson, Cade Anderson, and Austin Anderson; his brother, Terry Hause; uncle Dean Lee and wife, Cheryl; aunts Charlie Mae Hutchins and husband, Claude and Josie Lee. Father and mother-in-law, Sam and Alma Smith. A brother-in-law Gregg Smith, and wife, Judi; brother-in-law, Jody Davis and wife, Jennifer; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, December 31, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Prague, Oklahoma. Reggie’s family will be greeting visitors on Wednesday, December 30, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague. Burial will be in Prague Cemetery, Prague Oklahoma. Services are in the care of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague, Oklahoma.
