Donna Faye Peaslee, 62, of Cushing, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Donna was born on September 13, 1961, in Cushing, to Roscoe Edgar and Daphne Ann (Tennie) Bailey, and attended Cushing Schools. On June 15, 2002, Donna married Frank Peaslee in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Throughout her life, Donna worked as a waitress and restaurant manager. First and foremost, she was a devoted homemaker and stay-at-home mother.
Donna loved to be outdoors and in nature. She enjoyed fishing, crafting, mechanics, hummingbirds, and all types of animals. She had a loving personality, was always optimistic and happy, and wanted others to be happy as well. Her family said they would often hear her humming and singing to the Lord as she went about her day. Donna was the impersonation of "Love". You knew she loved and accepted you if she pinched your butt!
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Daphne Bailey; her brothers, Thomas Sonny Bailey and Roscoe "Rockey" Bailey; a granddaughter, Arianna Cornelius; and nephews, Gregory Bailey, and Aaron Bailey.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 22 years, Frank Peaslee; son, Eric Potter and his wife, Grace Potter, daughter Christina Potter and Brandon Grant, daughter Deborah Potter and Ronnie Osahwe, daughter, Tasha McDougal and husband, Tee McDougal, daughter, Alicia Boyle, son Josh Peaslee and wife Laneisha Peaslee, son Jacob Peaslee, and wife, Christy Peaslee, and son Adam Peaslee and wife Megan Peaslee; 34 grandkids; and 4 great-grandkids; nephew, Bruce Bailey; niece, Crystal Edmonson; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
