Mary "Beth" Combs was born on July 20, 1971, in Lebanon, Oregon. She was born to Bill and Deanie Easter, and was the fourth of five children. Beth had a happy life growing up in Oregon, and she made many memories with her family and childhood friends that she stayed close to her whole life. The west coast left an impression on Beth, and she returned to visit many times, always squeezing in a trip to the coast whenever she could. Beth always loved to sing, and some of her fondest memories were of singing with her sisters, making cassette tapes for their dad, and singing around her brother's campfire in Colorado when she got older.
Beth always had a heart for the Lord, and she was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on May 17, 1987, by Bro. Richard Hays. All her life, Beth had prayed that God would provide her with a companion, and on May 14, 1988, she met the love of her life, Robert Combs. There was an instant connection between them, and they were married on July 21, 1989. To say that they loved each other, would be an understatement. Theirs was a special kind of love. The Lord smiled on them, and they were blessed with three sons. Although Beth always wanted a daughter, He knew what she would need later in life, and gave her three caring (albeit rambunctious) sons, DaKoda, Mitchell, and Holden. She spent many happy times with her family, whether it be sitting on the front porch in her swing, watching them target shoot, traveling with Robert to Hawaii or Myrtle Beach, taking road trips with the Firstborn Riders on their motorcycle, or simply reading to her grandbabies. She loved it when they would come right in and yell her name!
Beth always loved making crafts, trying her hand at many things over the years, and spent many hours making wooden crafts with her friends and quilting with the Parkland sisters. One special talent she had was making aprons for all the young sisters that were getting married. Beth loved people. When she got sick, she was so worried about who would take care of her, but she needn't have worried at all" her sons and her daughters-in-love were so good to her, as were all the sisters who cared for her so kindly and patiently. Although she always felt like a square peg in a round hole, she was so thankful for all the friends that God blessed her with during her life.
After Robert passed away, she leaned on her friends, while struggling to find a new normal and figure out how to make her way in this world. She began to travel again, and made her way to Colorado, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Mackinac Island, and Branson, among other places. She was always ready to take off on an adventure, either with her friends, or even by herself.
Beth is survived by her children, DaKoda Combs and wife Kylee, Mitchell Combs and wife Lexi, and Holden Combs and wife Lindsay, four beautiful grandchildren, Draygan Combs, Remington Combs, Archer Combs, and Ryder Combs, and a special little one that hasn't arrived yet. She is also survived by her Dad, Bill Easter, her sister Cindy Ralston and husband Ken, sister Rosalie Oquist, sister JoAnn McCracken and husband Alan, and her brother Frank Easter, along with a host of beloved family and friends.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Combs, her mother, Deanie Easter, and her Father and Mother-in-law, Darrell and Neoma Combs.
Beth was a special person. She loved the Lord, her family, and her friends. She was happy doing the simple things in life, singing, laughing, shopping, thrifting, sewing, and making memories. She will forever be missed.
