EUGENIA MAY ALDRIDGE

7 Aug 1922 - 23 Nov 2017

Eugenia May Aldridge, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born August 7, 1922, in Heavener, Oklahoma, and departed this life November 23, 2017, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 95 years.

Eugenia was the daughter of Eugene and Hazel Marie (Meador) Hook. She married Luther Aldridge on January 19, 1944, in San Francisco California. They moved to the Chandler area in 1971. Eugenia worked as a supply clerk at Tinker Air Force Base for many years. She loved sewing, quilting and spending time with her family. Eugenia was a long-time member of the Chandler First United Methodist Church, and was a 50 plus year member of Order of the Eastern Star.

Her parents, husband, one brother, Marvin, and one sister, Laura Fay preceded Eugenia in death.

Survivors include, two daughters, Billie Reedy of Parkland, Oklahoma, and Marry Walley of Chandler, Oklahoma; one granddaughter Twila Adams and husband Kenny of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three grandsons, Mark Reedy of Parkland, Bob Morris and wife Kimberly of Austin, Texas, and David Morris of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two great-granddaughters, Kodi and husband J.D. Pugh, and Hannah Morris; four great-grandsons, Kolton and Klayton Adams, Hunter and Austin Morris; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Allen Carson officiating. Burial will follow at the Parkland Cemetery, in Parkland, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
