Ashlyn Jade “Ash” Roe, 15, of Agra, OK, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 in Cushing, OK. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home of Stillwater, OK.

A Celebration of Ashlyn’s life will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Wes McFarland Center (Agra Gymnasium) in Agra, OK. Interment will follow at Osage cemetery in Agra. Pallbearers will be Josh Vaughan, Matt Vaughan, Cody Hicks, Zach Gray, Dylan Vaughan, Drake McEntire, PoJo Roe, and Zack Reedy.

Ashlyn was born December 3, 2001 in Edmond, OK, to Christopher and Sarah (Vaughan) Roe. She was a sophomore student at Agra Public Schools. She loved playing basketball and softball. She excelled in all her academics. She was a member of F.C.A., FFA, and Choir. Ashlyn also loved spending time with her family and taking care of her baby cousins.

Survivors include her parents, Chris and Sarah Roe of the home; brother and sisters, Taylor Roe, Mackenzie Vaughan, and Brian Roe all of Agra, OK; paternal grandparents, Gary and Carolyn Roe of Agra, OK; maternal grandparents, Marshall “Tinker” and Ann Vaughan of Agra, OK; two great-grandmothers, Oma Germany of Meeker, OK, and Betty Thompson & David Watkins of Agra, OK; two aunts, Angie Vaughan of Cushing, OK, and Shelly Stallbaumer and husband Robert of Stillwater, OK; three uncles, Josh Vaughan and wife Tonya of Agra, OK, Matt Vaughan and wife Jennifer of Oklahoma City, OK, and Eddie McEntire of Cushing, OK; numerous cousins and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Brian Vaughan.
