December 21, 2024, God's angels received a Christmas present. Phillip Jay Wilson was welcomed into God's loving arms. Phil (Dink) was born June 23, 1949, along with his twin brother, Ron, to Ray and Matilda (Tillie) Wilson at his Paternal Grandparent's house, southwest of Chandler.
Phil married Dora Graham, and they had two children, Kimberly and Ricky. Ricky married the love of his life, Brandy Morris and they had a son, Ricky, Jr. Sadly, Dora died of cancer after several years of marriage to Phil and he later married Patti McLendon who also died. Sadly, Phil faced death again when his son Ricky died of a stroke.
Phil was born into what was to become a large family. His parents and brothers, Cecil, Wayne, Jerald, and Leslie have all gone before his passing. Also, two sisters, Wynema (Sue) Jones and Janice Johnson predeceased him. Brothers and sisters remaining to remember him fondly are Wendell Wilson and wife Jaylene, Morene and husband Keith Tipton of Chandler, Lois and husband David Cox of Prague, Ronald Wilson of Peggs, Charles Wilson and wife Kate, Bonnie and husband Doug, Harold (Butch) Wilson and wife Vickie; sister-in-law, Lila Wilson of Chandler; grandson, Ricky Wilson, Jr. of Perkins who had a special, unbreakable bond with his Grandpa, that Ricky will cherish forever.
Phil was a very kind and loving soul. He was almost always in a wonderful mood and had a special laugh that could light up a room. His way of enjoying life often spread to others and helped the whole family find love and laughter around them in difficult times. In spite of Phil losing two wives and a son, whom he loved dearly, he remained a loving, positive person who will be missed dearly.
