Lawrence Vernon Hopkins

Lawrence Vernon Hopkins was born August 4, 1943 in Pitcher, Oklahoma to Luther Vivian Hopkins and Alma (Morton) Chatum. He passed away October 6, 2022 in Tulsa at the age of 79.

Lawrence proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired from the United States Army after a long career.

Lawrence preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Hopkins. Survivors include his daughters, Bonnie Bearden, Tina Turner, Lisa Burton; (5) grandchildren, Tamra, Jonathan, Sara, Morgan, Cane; great-grandchildren other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday October 10, 2022 at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
