Peggy Fern Wilson, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at her home, in Prague, at the age of 83. Peggy was born on August 24, 1940 in Paden, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Lemuel “Lem” Lewis and Anna Mae (Davis) Case. Peggy grew up in Paden, attending Paden Schools. Peggy Married Harlan Wilson on June 11, 1955 in and the two were side by side for nearly 69 years. Peggy and Harlan were long time members and supporters of Calvary Way Church in Prague.
Peggy had a huge heart and passion for loving others. She lived a life of faith and love for Jesus Christ, her Savior, and shared that love with everyone. Peggy was known for her big personality and her “bling.” She was also dressed in her flashiest jewelry and glitter. Peggy put her whole heart into everything she did, whether it be cheering on her beloved Oklahoma Sooners or encouraging everyone to get themselves to church. Peggy’s greatest passion of all was that of her family. She was proud and supportive of them and kept them in line when needed. She lifted them up and would never hesitate to share their success with friends and family.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Vickie Derinda Wilson; three brothers, Joe Case, L.T. Case and Tex Case and five sisters, Virginia Broyles, Joan Broyles, Toyie Adams, Mary “Red” Barlow and Patricia “Sue” Hinds.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of more than 68 years, Harlan Wilson; her two sons, Brad Wilson and his wife, Beth and Patrick Wilson and his wife, Reid; four grandchildren, Kyle Vick and his wife, Amanda; Jason Vick and his wife, Christina, Craig Wilson and his wife, Chandler, and Meredith Rainwater and her husband, Philip; one brother, Max Case; her brother-in-law, Tom Hinds; her sister-in-law, Georgie Wilson numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
