January 12, 1945 ~ February 17, 2022

Peggy Ann (Willingham) Skaggs, passed away at her home, surrounded by family, on February 17, 2022, at the age of 77. Peggy was born on Friday, January 12, 1945, in Prague, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Chester Ray and Hazel Irene (Wilson) Willingham.

Peggy was raised in Paden, Oklahoma and attended Paden Public Schools. She was a proud 1962 graduate of Paden High School. Peggy made Paden her home, until she moved to Prague in 2005, to be closer to family.

Peggy was a huge Oklahoma City Thunder basketball fan and enjoyed watching basketball, no mater who was playing. She also loved to spend time watching movies and while her grandchildren were young, they had a weekly tradition of going to the movie together on Sunday afternoons. Peggy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

While Peggy had many passions, her greatest passion was taking care of others. She had a true calling for helping others in need. Whether they be her patients, whom she lovingly cared for, her family, friends or a stranger in need, she was always willing to help and to nurture.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Hazel Willingham and one grandson, Blaine Skaggs.

She is survived by two sons, Kenny Skaggs and his wife, Belinda, and Gary Skaggs and his wife, Vici; grandchildren, Kayla Weeks and her husband, Jacob, Kerry Skaggs and Devin Biar and Brynlee Skaggs; great-grandchildren, Keigan, Jaylah, Emmakate and one on the way; bonus grandchildren, Conner and Blayke Keeley and Grant Oakley; one sister, Sue Martin and her husband, Shelby; nephew, Tim Martin and his children, Tanner, Kyle and Ally and host of family and friends.

A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Oakdale Cemetery in Paden. The family will accept friends on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague from 11:00 AM until processing together to Oakdale Cemetery.
