Funeral service for Katherine A. (McFarland) Foster, age 77, is to be held at 2:00pm on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Baptist Church of Depew, OK with Reverend Doyle Seeley officiating. Burial to follow at Oakdale Cemetery, Depew, OK. Condolences may be offered online at www.parksbrothers.net. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
Kathy was born in Depew, OK on January 14, 1945, and died in Chandler, OK on May 7, 2022. She was the daughter of Todd and Grace McFarland.
Kathy had been a resident of Depew, OK, Glendale, CA and Chandler, OK. She graduated from Depew High School with the class of 1963. She married Donald Foster in Montrose, CA on June 6, 1970. They were married for 52 years. Kathy was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts, golf and travel. She worked in Glendale, CA for many years and retired to Chandler in 1988.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Floyd McFarland, Thomas McFarland, and Charles McFarland and by four sisters Lou Alice Raley, Dollie Owens, Mary Arline Jones and Linda Wallin. Survivors include her husband Donald Foster of the home; one step-daughter Jackie Reilly of Port Charlotte, FL; one brother Wiley Wayne McFarland of Depew, OK; and three sisters Estella Taylor of Oklahoma City, OK, Carolin Sue Winn of Golden Valley, AZ and Dorothy Moore of Chandler, OK and many other relatives and friends.
