Elania Chris Scribner was born on September 20, 1946 in Cushing, OK to Henry Farish Howard and Laverne Cannon. Elania departed this life on Monday, August 24, 2020 in Chandler, OK at the age of 73 years.

Elania was a longtime Chandler resident, and graduate of Agra High School. She liked to travel, care for her garden and flowers. She was a homemaker who also worked for Walmart 15 years. She loved her Church of Christ and Faith Believers family, fellowships, and taught Sunday School for many years. Her favorite thing was to spend time with family and the time they shared together. Elania was married to Thomas Ray Scribner on April 11, 1969. They shared 42 years together before he passed in 2012.

Elania was preceded in death by her husband Tom Scribner, and her parents.

Survivors include one son; Chris Scribner and wife Carrie of Chandler, two daughters; Pam Maston of Shawnee, Mandy Moore and husband Ty of Shawnee, grandchildren; Nick, Noah, Carsen, Gabe, Ben, Colten, and Caden, five brothers; Ronnie Howard, Eddie Howard, Sherman Howard, Robin Howard, Steve Howard, one sister; Mary Costner, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 28, 2020 at the New Zion Cemetery in Chandler, OK officiated by Ron Walker. Condolences may be offered online at www.parksbrothers.net. Care Services are provided by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, OK.
