Ronald "Ronnie" Dewayne Kalka, 65, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Ronnie was born on Thursday, October 31, 1957, in Cushing, Oklahoma to Lewis and Maxine (Bond) Kalka. He grew up in Chandler, Oklahoma, graduating from Chandler High School in 1976. While in high school, Ronnie was involved in FFA, earning the State FFA Degree award.
On August 27, 1977, Ronnie married Beverly Miller in Chandler. Together they raised two daughters, Sandy and Candy.
Ronnie owned and operated Kalka Construction for more than 40 years. He also farmed and ranched for several years.
When Ronnie wasn't working, he enjoyed going to the lake and spending time around the campfire. He loved a good challenge, building things, and digging in the dirt. Ronnie was a Mason and earned the title of 32nd Degree Mason.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Maxine Kalka and his grandparents.
Those left to cherish his memory are, his wife of 45 years, Beverly Kalka of Chandler; two daughters, Sandy Matthews and husband, Philip of Chandler, and Candy Jo Kalka of the home; his brother, John Kalka of Carney, Oklahoma; sisters, Mary Shuey and husband, Rob of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, and Lori Reynolds and husband Rob of Helena, Montana; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Barbara Miller; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lori and Shane Niccum; 11 nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made to the Chandler Masonic Lodge #58, 601 S. Price Ave. Chandler, Ok 74834.
Everyone is invited to lunch after the service - 11:30 AM - at Lake View Ridge Lodge, 341070 East 890 Rd., Chandler, Ok, 74834.
