Anna "Sue" (Clarke) Parks

Anna "Sue" Parks, 83, of Meeker, passed away at her home, Wednesday, July 21, 2021. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the New Hope Cemetery of Meeker. Pastor Dave Price will officiate.

Sue was born September 10, 1937, in Oklahoma City, she was chosen at 14 days old by Frank Earl and Mary Lois (Farmer) Clarke. She was reared and educated in Meeker, graduating from Meeker High School in 1955. Sue married Alva Dale "A.D." Parks on June 5, 1955, in Meeker. Sue was active in the Meeker Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Sooner Teamsters and Trail Riders Association. She was a member of HIS Church of Meeker and enjoyed trail riding and serving with the prison ministry. Sue worked in the Tax Audit department of the State of Oklahoma for many years.

Survivors include her children Dr Frank and his wife Dr. Kathy Parks of Tulsa, Leann Nunley of Meeker; four grandchildren Jason Kirkwood of Meeker, Jaime and husband Ivan Andreli of Washington D.C., Dr. Kaitlin and husband Jared Martin of St. Louis, Missouri, Andrew and wife Johanna Parks of Germany; seven great-grandchildren Cheyanna, Cameron and Kiley Kirkwood, Juan and Milo Andreli, Frida Parks and Eleanor Martin; step-sister Sylvia Weedman and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Dennis Parks, a sister Bonnie Cochran, son-in-law Terry Nunley, and companion Jim Kindlesperger. Arrangements are under the care of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague. Online condolences may be made at www.parksbrothers.net
