MARY ETTA YOUNGBLOOD
1868 - 1950
Mary Etta Guinn Youngblood was the daughter of William Amos Guinn and Emily Ellen Gilpin Guinn.
She was born September 18, 1868 in Indiana.
She married George Washington Youngblood on February 26, 1891.
George and Mary had four children, Zeffie Alba Youngblood {born June 13, 1892} who married Harve E. Markwell. To this union four sons and one daughter were born: Elvan C., Ernest L., Lola O., Harvie and Vernon L.V. Markwell.
Henry Youngblood {born July 1, 1895} was the only son of George and Mary. He married Pearl Neighbors. Three children were born: Lorene, Delbert and Gilbert Youngblood.
Nora Youngblood was the third child. She was born May 1, 1897. She married Roy Black. They had two girls and a son: Irene, Goldie and Alfred Black. The fourth child, a girl, was Beulah Youngblood {born December 4,1904}. She married Troy Ellison. Six children were born to this union: Elvesta, Wilma, George, Howard, Helen and Patricia JoAnn Ellison.
George as well as his wife, Mary, were members of the Church of Christ. He was a farmer living most of his life south of Meeker.
George Youngblood died May 4, 1940. Mary Etta Guinn died October 28, 1950. Both are buried in the Meeker New Hope Cemetery.
