DANNY WORTHY
1950 - 2011


Danny Worthy, lifelong resident of Lincoln County, passed away Sunday evening, November 27, 2011, in the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa at the age of 61 years.
The son of Bill Worthy and Etta Herrmann Worthy, Danny was born on March 16, 1950 north of Chandler and was raised and educated in the Agra area, graduating from Agra High School in 1968.
He was united in marriage to Betty Camren on February 23, 1980 in Agra.
Danny had worked for Quad Graphics in Stillwater for over 25 years.
He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Betty of the home; his parents, Bill and Etta Worthy of Agra; four children, Danny Worthy and his wife Jeri of Stillwater; Wade Worthy of Phoenix, Arizona; Kristin Vieyra and her husband Tim of Cushing and Stephanie Howard and her husband Ron of Cushing; twelve grandchildren, Tori, Tiffanie, Dylan, Bladen, Kaylee, Austin, Kristen, Jacob, Matthew, Gabriel, Aaron and Andrew; three brothers, his twin, Johnny Worthy and his wife Sharon of Cushing; Michael Worthy and his wife Loretta of Checotah and Alan Worthy and his wife Kelly of Stillwater; one sister, Diann Myers and her husband Tim of Vernon, Texas and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Agra Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Shaw officiating.
Burial will be held in the Flynn Cemetery.
Serving as casket bearers will be Danny Worthy, Wade Worthy, Tim Vieyra, Ron Howard, Stacey Worthy, Sam Worthy and Stephen Worthy.
