LENA E. WOODEN McCALL
1928 - 1999
Lena E. Epps Wooden McCall died Saturday, September 18, 1999, in Springdale, Arkansas She was 71.
Mrs. McCall was born April 25, 1928, in Wasola, Missouri, to Luther and Ethal Shindler Epps.
She married Lewis Wooden. Following his death, she married Samuel McCall.
She was a resident of Holiday Island, Arkansas, and was a homemaker and also worked as a hairstylist.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel McCall of Holiday Island, Arkansas; daughter, Carolyn Hogan of Holiday Island, Arkansas.; son, Ron Wooden of Holiday Island, Arkansas; sisters, Irene Davis and Nadine Dale, both of Jenks; Cleta Justice of Edmond; brothers, Doin Epps of Ft. Worth, Texas; Olden Epps of Jenks; two grandchildren, Scott and Kim Hogan; four step - grandchildren, Laura Sowder, Tim Ashlock, Robert Wooten and Matt Wooten; and one great-grandchild, Audra Lena Hogan.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis Wooden; her parents and one brother, Leonard Epps.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler with the Rev. Doyle Seeley officiating.
Burial will be in New Zion Cemetery.
