1935 - 2009
Alice “Elaine” Meadows Wolff, longtime Cushing resident, passed away on February 12, 2009 in Oklahoma City at the age of 73 years.The daughter of the late James Mason Meadows and Lula Bryant Meadows, Elaine was born on July 2, 1935 in Manteno, Illinois. She was raised in Gibson City, Illinois, graduating from Gibson City High School.She was united in marriage to Delmar Fairley and to this union two children, LuAnn and Scott were born. She was united in marriage to Bud Wolff on February 14, 1994 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2007.Elaine was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer.She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing cards, playing bunko and shopping. She also enjoyed socializing with her friends.Survivors include one daughter, LuAnn Lynch and her husband John of Yukon; one son, Scott Fairley and his wife Cathy of McQueeney, Texas; one step-son, Jon Wolff of Edmond; four grandchildren, Michelle Ottke and her husband Keith; Trey Lynch; Paula Robinson-Fairley and Robby Robinson-Fairley; two step-grandchildren, Chris Wolff and Bradley Wolff; seven great-grandchildren, Landon, Lathan, Kaleb, Cailyn, Kylie, Reed & Kaydence; one sister, Oretha Bouziden of Urbana, Illinois; one brother, Gene Meadows of Belleville, Illinois and other relatives and friends.Services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer with Reverend David Helmer officiating.Burial will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery.Serving as casket bearers will be Trey Lynch, Keith Ottke, Jon Wolff, Chris Wolff, Mack Greever, and Tommy Taylor.
