WINSTON WILSON
1914 - 2005
Winston Wilson, Tulsa, Oklahoma, resident, formally of Chandler, was born on December 20, 1914, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 4, 2005, in Tulsa, at the age of 90 years.
Winston was the son of William Lee and Mary Bollinger Wilson.
He married Opal Richburg on August 5, 1942, in Sweetwater, Texas.
Winston served in the United States Army during World War II.
He worked many years as a route salesman and had retired as an employee from the State of Texas.
Winston was a member of First United Methodist Church in Chandler.
His parents, wife, two brothers and two sisters preceded Winston in death.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law: Randy and Rebecca Wilson of Vancouver, Washington; one daughter and son-in-law: Pam and Tom Truelove of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma, or your favorite charity.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Chandler with Chaplin Merle Newton officiating.
Arrangements are being directed by Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.
