JERALD EZRA WILSON
1944 - 2015


Jerald Ezra Wilson, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born June 13, 1944, in Payson, Oklahoma, and departed this life December 20, 2015, at his home in Chandler, at the age of 71 years.
Jerald was the son of Ray and Matilda Fair Wilson.
He graduated from Chandler High School in 1962.
Jerald served in the United States Army and the Oklahoma Army National Guard for many years, having served a tour of duty in Vietnam and during Desert Storm, he retired in 1996.
Jerald was a long-time member of the American Legion Post #64 in Chandler, he served as Post Commander, District Commander, District East Commander, Division 1st Vice Commander and State Service Office.
He owned and operated J&M Tree Service in Chandler for many years.
His parents, twin sister, Janice, two brothers, Cecil and Wayne, and one sister-in-law, Dora, preceded Jerald in death.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Mitzi of the home, four sons and daughters-in-law, Jerald and Debbie Wilson of Alma, Arkansas, Clifford and Michelle Wilson of Cushing, Oklahoma, Michael and Tashina Harruff of Las Vegas, Nevada and Phillip and Tammy Harruff of Willisville, Arkansas, six brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell and Jaylene Wilson, Les and Lila Wilson, Phillip Wilson, Charlie and Kate Wilson, Harold and Vicki Wilson, all of Chandler, and Ron and Charlene Wilson of Peggs, Oklahoma, four sisters and brothers-in-law, Morene and Keith Tipton, of Chandler, Bonnie and Doug Clagg, of Chandler, Lois and David Cox of Prague, Oklahoma and Sue and George Jones of Kilgore, Texas, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to, American Legion Post #64, Chandler, Oklahoma, in Jerald's name.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at the American Legion Hut in Chandler, Oklahoma.
Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
