Agnes J. Jones Williams was born on November 21, 1923, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 90.Agnes, the daughter of Walter and Liddie Ella Parsons Jones, was a resident of Prague, Oklahoma.She graduated from Paden High School with the class of 1941.Agnes married Boyce Williams on January 5, 1944 in Shawnee. They lived in Bartlesville, Crescent and eventually retired to Prague.She worked for Modern Woodmen of America, Eason Oil Company, and British Petroleum. After returning to Prague, Agnes worked as a receptionist for Parks Brothers Funeral Home and served on the Lincoln County Election Board. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.Boyce preceded Agnes in death on May 7, 2007.Her parents; three brothers, Otis Jones, Lloyd Jones, Floyd Jones; sisters, Lovie Ellison, Sallie Brauer, Verna Heinzig, Della Mayes, Mollie Martin and Florence Broyles, also preceded Agnes in death.Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Joyce Williams of Bella Vista, Texas; Philip and Gail Williams of Lansing, Michigan; Keith and Angie Williams of Yukon; grandchildren and their spouses, Chad and Julie Williams, Renee and Mike Rossin, Heather and Brad Johnson, Kristen Callihan, Phillip, Jr., and Christy Williams, Megan and Benjamin Loney, Kathy Williams; nine great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Ella Broyles Lain of Tulsa; Doris and Bruce Huff of Prague; and many other relatives and friends.Memorials may be made in Agnes' memory to: Chapel Hill United Methodist Church c/o Whiz Kids Program 2717 W. Hefner, Oklahoma City, OK 73120.The Williams family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with OHP Chaplain Sam Garner officiating.Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
