CARREL RAYMOND WICKHAM
1898 - 1981
Carrel Raymond Wickham was born November 28, 1898 in Charleston, Illinois to Mr. and Mrs. William Franklin Wickham.
Mr. Wickham departed this life June 20, 1981.
In 1905 Mr. Wickham moved with his parents to Stroud, Oklahoma which was still Indian Territory, from there he moved to Seminole then to Kilgore where he operated a packing plant.
In 1948 the Kilgore Plant burned and he moved to the Wickham Ranch north of Strong City, Oklahoma where he married Grace Kill who survives him.
He was a member of the Cheyenne Methodist Church.
Other survivors include one stepdaughter, Frances Rupel of South Bend, Indiana; one stepson, Don J. Brown of Gray Summitt, Maryland.; Sylvester N. Brown of Bloomington, Indiana; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two sisters, Mable Fern Grigsby of Sapulpa and Lourene Frances Carmen of McAlester.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 22, 1981 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cheyenne Methodist Church with Homer Williams officiating.
Burial was in the Stroud Cemetery at 4:30 p.m.
Pallbearers were Earl Hill, Claude Bottom, Weldon Davis, Ervice Porter, Raymond Hyman and Claudie Peck.
Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne were in charge of arrangements.
