BILLY GREYSON WHITE
1928 - 2012


Billy "Bill" Greyson White drifted off to be with this Lord on Thursday July 19, in his home in Chandler, Oklahoma.
He was born to Lela and Willie White of Ellisville, Mississippi on October 3, 1928.
He had four brothers and one sister. His older brothers were Marlette and Bob, and younger brothers were Buddy, JB and little sister Jo.
Bill married Berline Carter May 10, 1950 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. armed services.
He was self employed in the oilfield most of his working career.
Through the years Bill loved and was loved by many church congregations and had the opportunity to call them his home.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Marlette, Bob, and Buddy as well has his son-in-law, Rodger Corrick.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Berline White and his two daughters, Sandra Corrick and Karen Wells and his son-in-law James Wells. He has three grand children, Christopher Corrick and his wife Melissa Corrick, Jeremy Robbins and his wife Kelli and Candace Crews and her husband Gary. His great grand children include Kyle Robbins, Gage Crews, Ella Corrick and Hope Crews. Although they were a small family, he leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel in Wellston with interment following in the Oak Park Cemetery of Chandler.
Bill's family would like to invite friends to join them Monday evening anytime between 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home to share in remembering Bill's 83 wonderful years.
