DANNY F. WATKINS
1951 - 2013


Danny F. Watkins, lifelong Cushing and Agra resident, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, in Tulsa at the age of 62 years.
The son of the late Ervin Watkins and Nellie Mallonee Watkins, Danny was born on May 19, 1951 in Cushing and raised and educated in Agra, graduating from Agra High School.
He was united in marriage to Donna Salley on July 22, 1972 in Agra and to this union three children, Kris, Amy and Dustin were born. Donna preceded him in death on August 28, 2007.
Danny was a longtime auto mechanic and knew everything there was about fixing cars.
He was an avid Oklahoma University football fan; he was known as a history buff and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his three children, Kris Watkins, Amy Watkins, and Dustin Watkins; four brothers, Ray Watkins, Joe Watkins, Max Watkins and Mike Watkins; two very special grandchildren, Kieli Watkins and Randa Watkins; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cushing Church of Christ.
