1938 - 2016
Morris Gene Warrior was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma on October 1, 1938 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the age of 77 years.Morris was the son of Andrew and Mae Elizabeth Morris Warrior.He was a resident of Stroud all of his life.He was in the United States Marine Corps and worked at Tinker Field in Oklahoma City as a mechanic.He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Mae and two sisters, Barbara and Chenenia Morris LaDeaux.Survivors include two brothers, Antowine Warrior of Clinton, Massachusetts and Thomas Warrior and wife Barbara of Stroud as well as several nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.Wake will be held Friday, June 24, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Sac and Fox Community building in Stroud.Traditional service following Sac and Fox Wake.Burial will be Saturday, June 25, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. at the Sac and Fox Tribal Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Stroud, Oklahoma.
