EDWIN LOUIS WALTERS
1921 - 2004


Edwin Louis Walters was born on May 25, 1921, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 82.
Edwin, the son of Charles Louis and Beuna Elizabeth Clark Walters, was a life-long resident of Prague.
He married Florence Gail Paxton on June 29, 1941, in Meeker, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on April 12, 1996.
Edwin operated Edwin Walters Bulldozer Service for over 40 years, was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Prague, a member of Masonic Lodge #209 in Prague, and a 32nd Degree Mason in the Guthrie Consistory.
His parents, one brother and two sisters also preceded Edwin in death.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Joan Walters of Prague; daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and James Watkins of Prague, Saundra and Sam Hodges of Prague; grandchildren, Rafe and Karen Watkins, Adam and Trina Hodges, Andrea and Travis Pettyjohn, Ty and Abby Walters and Beau Walters; sisters, Betty Turner of Midwest City and Freda Peters of Tulsa; sisters-in-law, Sara Hill of Yakima, Washington and Bessie Walters of Guthrie; brother-in-law, Jim Busey of Oklahoma City and six great-grandchildren as well as numerous friends.
