FLORENCE MAXINE WALLEY
1924 - 2006
Chandler, Oklahoma resident, Florence Maxine Robinson Walley was born on April 4, 1924, in Sparks, Oklahoma, and departed this life on June 9, 2006, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years.Florence was the daughter of James George and Clara Edna Morris Robinson.She attended area grade schools. In her early teenage years she met and married Roy Diamond and moved to California. Florence returned to Lincoln County and married Kenneth Griffin of Meeker and had a son, Leonard Ray Griffin.In 1952 she married John Amrine and a daughter was born to this union, Christine.After John's death she moved to Chandler, where she met and married Edward "Ed" Walley. After his death she moved to Norman to live with her son.Florence was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.Her parents; husbands; daughter, Christine Amrine Phillips; granddaughter, Tammy Phillips; four brothers, Alfred, Cecil, Floyd and Imon Robinson preceded Florence in death.Survivors include one son, Leonard Ray Griffin of Norman, Oklahoma, two granddaughters, three brothers, Wilford Robinson of Davenport, Lawrence Robinson of Agra and Olin Robinson of Kendrick, two sisters, Florene Walker of Sparks and Inaze Wilson of Davenport as well as other relatives and many friends.Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service.
