TERESA LEE WAKOLEE
1969 - 2009

Tecumseh residents Bobby Alan Wakolee, 34, Teresa Lee Wakolee, 39, and Summer Dawn Etchieson, 7 months, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009, in Tecumseh.
Teresa Lee Crisp Wakolee was born August 3, 1969, in Pontiac, Michigan, to J. W. Crisp and Linda Morris Duncan. She moved to Tecumseh in 1981, graduating from Tecumseh High School in 1987.
On March 23, 2003, she and Bobby were married in Shawnee.
She was the policy coordinator for the State of Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs, employed by COJC for many years.
Her family was her life. She loved every one of them a great deal. She enjoyed watching Christian's ballgames, spending time with Heather and playing with Summer. She was the glue that held the family together. Heather says, "Our mom had the biggest heart in this world. She would take her own shirt off her back to give to someone who needed it more. Our mom was so loving to everyone around. She was always there for anyone who needed her. Our mom was our #1 fan, but also our best friend. She was our hero."
She was preceded in death by her father, J. W. Crisp; and her stepfather, Eddie Duncan.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Duncan of Macomb; children, Heather Nichole Nunnally of Tecumseh; Christian Nicholas Nunnally of Tecumseh; and Troupe Tiger Wakolee ; grandmother, Leola Morris of Lake Orion, Michigan; brother, Ricky Crisp and his girlfriend Wendy Knapp; sister, Tammi Powell; four stepbrothers, Doug, David, Dennis and Ronnie Duncan; stepsister, Sheryl Duncan-Callter; brother-in-law, Billy Wakolee of Shawnee; sister-in-law and her husband, Debra and Kim Case of Prague; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2009, at the Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh with the Rev. Ellis Rolette and Chaplain Jim Kirkendall officiating.
Burial will be at Sunnyside Cemetery in Meeker under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
