Alan Wayne Wakely, Chandler, Oklahoma resident was born on October 13, 1956, in Chandler, and departed this life on September 2, 2013, in Chandler, at the age of 56 years.Alan was the son of Harold David and Norma Elizabeth Cullison Wakely.He worked as a machinist, owned his own business, and worked in transportation for many years.Alan married Cheryl Stingley in Tryon, Oklahoma on June 4, 1976.He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chandler.Survivors include his wife Cheryl of the home, two sons, Joshua and Chad Wakely of Chandler, parents, Harold and Norma Wakely of Chandler, three brothers, Randall, Steve and Dean Wakely of Chandler, one sister, Diane Leftwich of Ponca City, Oklahoma, two grandsons, Kaedon and Peyton Wakely of Chandler, brother-in-law, Russell Stingley of Granby, Missouri, mother-in-law, Venecia Stingley of Granby, Missouri, numerous nieces, nephews, other relative and many friends.Funeral service will be held at the Chandler First Church of the Nazarene, 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2013, with Rev. Keith Cole officiating.Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Chandler.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
