VI ANN WAITE

8 Feb 1961 - 11 Jan 2017

Vi Ann Waite, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born February 8, 1961, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and departed this life January 11, 2017, in Chandler at the age of 55 years.

Vi Ann was the daughter of Edgar and Doris (Dobson) Fields. She married Danny Waite on May 28, 1983, in Ponca City. Vi Ann worked as a special education teacher for Chandler public schools many years.

Vi Ann was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include, her husband, Danny of the home; one daughter, Kristy Smith of Ponca City; three brothers, Wesley Fields, Charles Fields, and Edwin Fields all of Ponca City; two grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that expressions of sympathy be made to, American Diabetes Association.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church in Chandler, with Rev. Alan Carson officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
