ANTHONY WAGGONER SR.
1947 - 2016


Anthony "Tony" Waggoner Sr. was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on March 19, 1947 and departed this life at his home in Stroud, Oklahoma on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the age of 69 years.
Tony was the son of Gilbert and Irene Hartman Waggoner.
He had lived in Stroud most of his life.
Tony graduated from Stroud High School in 1965.
He worked as a general contractor and laborer for many years. He love to play the drums and scuba dive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Anthony Waggoner Jr.
He is suvived by a daughter, Michaela Phillips of Stroud, Oklahoma, step-daughter, Jennifer Waggoner of Drumright, Oklahoma, two grandchildren, Cabree and Dillon Phillips of Stroud, Oklahoma, two sisters, Juanita Smith and husband, the late Carl Smith of Stroud, Oklahoma, and Vickie Jackson and husband Dewayne of Stroud, Oklahoma, other relatives and friends.
Memorial will be held at the Sac & Fox Chapel Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Russ Furgason officiating.
Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
