WANDA FAYE TONUBBEE
1936 - 2014
Wanda Faye Martin Tonubbee was born in Tryon, Oklahoma on October 7, 1936 and departed this life in Drumright, Oklahoma on Thursday, June 6, 2014 at the age of 77 years.Wanda was the daughter of Homer and Geneva Downs Martin.She was a resident of Davenport most of her life.She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Davenport and a homemaker.She married J. L. Tonubbee August 22, 1953. She was preceded in death by her husband December 13, 1994, parents, two brothers and two sisters.Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-laws, Rick and Paul Tonubbee of Davenport and Randy and Christine Tonubbee of Royse City, Texas, daughter and son-in-law, Connie and James Thompson of Cushing, Oklahoma, brothers, Darrell Martin of Hennessey, Oklahoma and Harland Martin of Shawnee, Oklahoma, sisters, Jenny Fickess of Hennessey, Oklahoma and Glenda Martin of Stroud, Oklahoma, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, other relatives and numerous friends.A graveside service will be held at the Davenport Cemetery in Davenport, Oklahoma on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
