Roy Allen Thompson, Jr. was born October 6, 1968 in Stroud, Oklahoma to Roy Allen Thompson, Sr. and Wanda Kay Hightower.He passed away unexpectedly February 23, 2014 in Davenport, Oklahoma at the age of 45.Allen loved playing golf, riding his Razor with the gang, and spending time with family and friends. He loved life and lived it to the fullest.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andy and Zelda Hightower; and Ruby and Homer Thompson; uncles, Charles Forbis and Jerry Hightower; aunts, Phyllis Newham Donna Stokes, Billie Tucker and Linda Sue Collier.Survivors include, his parents, Roy Allen Sr. and Wanda Kay Thompson; brothers, Everett Dale Melson of Stroud; Nick and his wife Becky Thompson of Davenport; nieces and nephew, Brandon Mudgett and family of Elk City; Mindy Mudgett and family of Chandler; Heather Dawn Melson of Tulsa; and Joshua Thompson of Davenport.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 27, 2014 in the Davenport High School Gymnasium with interment following in the Davenport Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
