Billye Ruth Thompson, 68 passed away on Sunday, March 1 in Agra, Oklahoma.Billye was born on April 14, 1946 to Herman William and Cora Ester Miller Rust in Ponca City, Oklahoma.She attended Ponca City High School.She married Michael S. Thompson in July 1963.Billye collected cook books and was a fantastic chef herself, loved crosswords, solitaire and enjoyed garage sales.She also enjoyed teaching her granddaughters and their friends many life lessons.She is preceded in death by her son, Michael G. Thompson.She is survived by her husband of the home, Michael Thompson; granddaughters, Larana, Katherine Thompson; great granddaughter, Brylee Drake; sisters, Juanita Hicks, Cheryl Guerin and Sharon Lyons; and brother, Gerald Snell, Jr.Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
