Funeral services were held for Delbert Otho Teters on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at the Assembly of God Church in Stroud with the Rev. Jeromye Jackson and the Rev. Don Wilburn officiating.Delbert was born February 22, 1923 in Stroud and died Saturday, August 18, 2012 in Drumright, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years.He was the son of Harve and Alice Mae Craig Teters and married Margeline McGee Hunt on February 20, 1953, in Chandler.He worked in farming and ranching and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.Preceding him in death were his parents, four brothers and five sisters.Survivors include his wife Margeline of the home, two sons, John D. Teters of Stroud and Eugene Hunt of Athens, Texas, one daughter, Debra Mitchell of Burleson, Texas, one sister in law, Ada Teters of Stroud, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and other family and friends.Burial followed at Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.Published August 23, 2012.
