MILTON GLEN TEMPLE
1903 - 1989


Graveside services for Milton Glen Temple, 85, Chandler, were held Tuesday at New Zion Cemetery. Rev. Lynn White officiated. Curry-Parks Funeral Chapel, Chandler, was in charge of arrangements.
He died Saturday, February 25, 1989, in a Shawnee hospital.
Temple was born September 10, 1903, in Stroud, to Elbert and Nellie Mae Abercrombie Temple.
He married Opal Kalka April 21, 1935, at Chandler.
Temple was a retired service station owner and had lived in Chandler since 1932, moving here from Stroud.
He was a Master Mason, past Worshipful Master of Chandler Lodge No. 58, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, 32nd Degree Mason, and Knight Commander of the Court of Honor of the Guthrie Scottish Rite. He has also received his 60-year-pin.
He was a member of Chandler First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Opal, of the home; one daughter, Glenda Temple, Washington, D. C. and one brother, Floyd Temple of Bryan, Texas.
The family has indicated memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
