PAMELA LOU TELFORD
1957 - 2016
Pamela Lou Ham Telford was born December 6, 1957 in Chandler to Curtis Henry Ham and Lula Mae Greenfield. She passed away July 28, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 58.Pam loved her Lord, and her church where she worked with children. She and her husband, Mike, worked at Falls Creek and sponsored youth groups attending as well. She was affiliated with iGo Global Missions, and chaperoned mission trips to London, Paris and Washington D.C. She truly loved serving others.When Pam struggled with her illness, she spent her efforts focusing on someone else in need and sent them a card of encouragement enclosed with what they needed either financially or otherwise.As a first grade teacher, Pam impacted many children who still today have the effects of her caring touch.She unselfishly devoted herself to her special needs child, Taylor, whom she loved with all of her heart. Through Falls Creek and teaching, she was blessed with many children who in return blessed her. Throughout Pam’s challenges with her illness, she was afforded opportunities to witness to caregivers and other patients often simply by her grace alone.She loved to travel and loved her Oklahoma State Cowboys.Pam was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Tyler Michael Telford; brothers-in-law, Joe Telford and Gene Goggin; nieces, Latersa Valliquetto, Cindy Miller and Lindsay Bailey Pittman and nephew, Chad Coleman.Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Mike Telford; daughter, Taylor Telford both of the home; brother, Gene Ham and his wife Opal of Hennessey; sisters, Mary Goggin of Wellston, Susie Valliquetto and her husband Earl of Crescent; nieces, Deedee States, Dianna Breitschuh, Ladawna Victor, Deena Bailey, Barbara Walker, Kim Simunek, Stephanie Stie, Jamee Telford; nephew, Jay Telford; along with other family and many friends who will miss her sweet spirit.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the Southern Baptist Church of Chandler with interment following in the Oak Park Cemetery of Chandler.Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
